I am personally obsessed with hosting VIP days! At Cara Barone LLC we offer select VIP days where we do strategy and content planning sessions with clients. I believe these days will increase in popularity in 2021 as people are willing to pay an increased price to save time, I know I am:)
In today’s post, Jordan Gill, an operations consultant and the founder of Systems Saved Me, shares this valuable information about creating and offering virtual VIP days.

Jordan shares this simple yet clear analogy of what a VIP day really is. There are two ways you can enjoy Disneyworld:
One, you go the regular way. You wait in line for an hour for a 5-minute Peter Pan ride.
Two, you buy the Fast Pass. You pay an additional price on top of the original price. But you only have to wait in line for about 15 to 20 minutes for the same 5-minute ride.
The VIP Day works just like the Fast Pass. You take your client through a transformation, through your framework, through your process. This is not where your clients come to you to ask you ongoing questions.
Jordan shares 3 structures that you can use in your business:
Backstage – You are not on a call with the client. You provide the step and they implement right away. Then, they get back to you for possible changes in the process.
Blended – Both you and your client are on the call, co-working and creating together.
Bookend – The call can either be at the beginning or at the end of the VIP day. The middle part is where your client does the work.
Jordan says to be clear about positioning your services. VIP days are entirely different from Power Hours, Pick Your Brain sessions, etc. Make sure that you have a clear description of what your Virtual VIP Day is and the transformation that’s included.
When using Slack in communicating with your team or clients, let them use the eyeball emoji as a sign that they’ve seen the post. Once they’re done with whatever you want them to do, let them drop a green checkmark emoji.
Automate your onboarding process way before the actual day. You want to ensure a flawless experience before the day and after!
Time is a commodity that many don’t have. A Virtual VIP Day can help your clients get access to your strategic framework and implement the steps right away within one, compact day.
